ALL ABOUT ME!
My name is Mallory Allen and I grew up on a farm in Blairstown, New Jersey.
I am currently a junior at Skidmore College, majoring in Health and Human Physiological Sciences and Management and Business.
I am also on Skidmore College’s softball team!

MY STORY
I wasn’t always someone who loved learning. In fact, when I was younger, the idea of “school” intimidated me. But outside the classroom, I was learning every day on the small family farm where I grew up. Caring for chickens, sheep, and honeybees taught me responsibility, patience, and what it means to work hard, because something relies on you. Those early mornings and hands-on lessons slowly shaped me into someone who thrives when I’m busy, challenged, and pushing myself to improve.
Over time, that same work ethic translated into how I approached learning. I grew to appreciate the process of gaining new skills and the satisfaction that comes from giving my all: whether in school, in work, or in anything I’m committed to. Through it all, my family has always been the anchor in my life. Being so close to them has grounded me, influenced my values, and instilled in me a deep sense of loyalty and purpose.
Today, I bring those same qualities; drive, curiosity, and a willingness to dive in, to everything I do. I’m motivated by growth, fueled by the lessons from my childhood, and excited to continue building a future shaped by hard work and heart.
MY APPROACH
I show up fully by working hard, staying curious, and approaching every project with purpose, clarity, and genuine enthusiasm for growth. I value strong relationships built on trust, communication, and authenticity, and I strive to create solutions that are thoughtful, effective, and grounded in real understanding. Guided by grit, optimism, and a hands-on mindset, I tackle challenges with adaptability and a commitment to delivering my best work every time.
